Possibly the best rapper in the game right now and his mentor – Kendrick and Dre, respectively – drop a track together. Oddly, Dre’s flow in this one sounds surprisingly similar to Kendrick….. But I’m not claiming ghost writing or anything.
Anyways, it’s a Dre beat, so you know the production is great, and any verse that sounds like Kendrick (or is Kendrick) is amazing, so the verse are sweet. The hook may have left some to be desired, but that’s all good. This is presumably a single off of Kendrick’s upcoming album, “Good Kid in a Mad City”. Download the track here, and check out the lyrics over on RapGenius.
Young Diggy responds to a friendly “diss” off J. Cole’s “Grew Up Fast”, in which he also talked about Diggy’s sister, Vanessa. No offense to Diggy, but you can certainly tell that he’s 17 on this track: first he tells Cole that he has no friends, then he calls him a dweeb. Cole could easily rip Diggy in a beef, but I doubt he thinks it is worth his time.
